Jonah bible story fish swallowed a man.

Jonah

He boarded a ship from Spain. Suddenly a strong wind came, The storm was so strong that the ship was in danger of breaking up. The sailor was Scared and cried out for help.

During this time Jonah was asleep on the ship's lower deck. Sailors have always been noted for their strange beliefs. If there was a bad storm, they thought that their god was angry and trying to punish someone.

The sailors said to each other, "let's draw lots and find out who has put us into this danger."

They did so, and Jonah's name was drawn." So they said to him, " Tell us! How did you get into this trouble? What are you doing here? what country are you from?"

I am Hebrew, Jonah answered.

I worship the Lord, the great God, who made land and sea. Jonah went on to tell them, he was running away from the lord, The sailors are terrified, and said to him." That was awful things to do",

in between the storm was getting stronger all the time. So the sailors asked him, what should we do to stop the storm?

Jonah answered throw me in to see and it will calm down. I know it is my fault, that you are caught in this terrible storm. But still, the sailors tried their best to get the ship to shore.

But the storm was becoming worst than before.

So they cried out, "O Lord we pray, don't punish us with death for taking this man's life! You, Lord, caused all this to happen. You wanted this way"

Then They Picked Jonah up and threw him into the sea. Immediately the storm calmed down at once! This made the sailors so afraid of the lord that they offered a sacrifice and promised to worship him.

"The Lord Command A Large fish Swallowed Jonah, He was inside the fish for three days and three nights"

From deep inside the fish, Jonah prayed to the Lord his God,

"O Lord, when I was losing all my strength, I prayed to you,

and you heard me. I was refuse to obey you ...Forgive me, Lord, I will obey you, I will offer you a sacrifice and do what I have promised.

"The lord is the one who saves", Then at the Lord's command, the fish spat Jonah onto the beach ...

As per the lord's command, Jonah escaped from the mouth of a fish and went to Nineveh.

“ pray for each other so that you may be healed.”     (James 5:16 )

Dear all, Anyone who does not pray to the Lord in his better days, surely cannot make supplication to the Lord in the days of tears.

Learn to pray when everything is fine. Before sorrow, misery, loss, blame, and shame come in search of us learn to pray to Jesus. Look up unto Him and invite the Lord Jesus Christ into your heart. Today the Lord has given you a chance. Whatever may be your situation, the Lord will hear your prayer. Do you want this Jesus in your life? Do you want Him to come into your heart? Call unto Jesus. Surely, He will come into your heart, life, and family and the Lord will do miracles through you.

The following scriptures clearly say that Paul and Epaphras prayed every day for their fellow believers. “God, whom I serve in my spirit in preaching the gospel of his Son, is my witness how constantly I remember you”(Romans 1:9).

The Bible says, “I want you to know how hard I am contending for you and for those at Laodicea, and for all who have not met me personally”(Colossians 2:1). The scripture says “ Epaphras, who is one of you and a servant of Christ Jesus, sends greetings. He is always wrestling in prayer for you”(Colossians 4:12).

Here in this story, Jonah was one of God's prophets, he gave people messages from God. 'the people in Nineveh are very very bad, said god one day. I want you to go to that city and tell them to stop what they are doing, or they will be punished. Jonah did not want to go to Nineveh, instead, he ran away.

Dear friends, do not pray only for you and your family, but also pray for others. When people ask you to pray for their needs and we say that I will pray, but do you remember it when you pray? The Bible says, “pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective”(James 5:16). When someone shares the burden and prays for each other, it will be a great blessing for you.

Once jonah told the people of Nineveh that GOD LOVED THEM But he didn't like them doing bad things. The king and all the people of Nineveh listened to God's message. They said they were very sorry and stopped being nasty. and God did not punish them.

Likewise, We need to obey god. In this critical situation, we don't know what to do how to manage a family, how to solve the problems like finance, job, business, family life, relation, but once we confess our sins to god, definitely god will wipe off all the tears from our eyes.

He is the only real source to give us a comfortable living, if we have more, we would worry about savings, if we have less, we will worry more about earning! This way made us lead our life.

Partially along with the Nineveh story, Jesus himself well explained about "The Two Houses ". Jesus was a good teacher. Crowds of people would come to hear him talk. They especially enjoyed listening to his stories. One day, Jesus told a story about two men and the houses they build.

One man was wise, said Jesus ." Where shall I build the house?"

he thought. Shall I build it near a river? Shall I build it near the sea? Shall I build it in a field? No! I will build it in solid rock!"

'So the wise man began to build his house. But building on a rock was hard work. It took a long time. But when the house was finished, the wise man was very pleased.

Soon afterward there was a terrible storm. The wind howled. The rain poured. The rivers grew higher and higher.

" The wise man's house trembled and creaked. It shivered and shook, But it did not fall down. It was built in solid rock.

"The Other man was foolish ." I don't care where I build my house'" he said. "Anywhere I will do. I will build it on the sand."

Obviously, we know very well, Whose house will Standstill?

'When the terrible storm came, the foolish man house trembled and creaked. It's wibbled and Wobbled.

Jesus looked at the people who were listening to him ." If you listen to me and then you do what I say, said Jesus, ' You will be like the wise man who builds his house on the rock '

"If we patiently doing hard work for a long time, definitely result will More Higher ", At the same time we have to be Obey god, as well as needs to ask god before we start anything. If we keep practicing this definitely god will help us to succeed!

The Lord made a garden, in the place of Eden. There he put the man he had made. He made all kinds of beautiful fruits and trees.

In the middle of the garden were two trees that give life and the tree that helps people to know good & evil.

Then the lord god placed the man in the garden of Eden to look after it. He told him, You may eat the fruit of any trees in the garden.

But do not eat the fruit of the tree that helps you good and evil.

"If you do you will surely die".

The first people disobey God:

Now the snake was the most cunning animal that the lord god had made.

The Snake asked the women," Did God really tell you not to eat the fruits of any tree in the garden?

The women answered, " We may eat fruits of any trees in the garden but not from the tree in the middle of it.

God told us not to eat its fruits or even touch them. If we do we will die."

The snake replied that's not true, you will not die.

God said that because, He knows that when you eat it, You will be like god.

You will know good and evil.

The Women thought that was a beautiful tree! It would be good to eat its fruits.

How wonderful it would become wise" So she took some of the fruits and ate them.

She gave some to her husband. He also ate it.

At once they knew they could understand good and evil.

They knew they were naked. So they sewed fig tree leaves together and covered themselves.

That evening, they heard Lord, God Walking in the garden.

They hid from him among the trees. But the god called out to the man," Adam where are you?"

He answered I heard you walking in the garden. I was afraid and hid from you because I was naked.

"Who told you, that you were naked? God asked.

"Did you eat the fruit, that I told you not to eat ?"

The man answered, "The woman you put here with me gave me the fruits, and I ate it."

The Lord God asked the women, "Why did you do this?"

She replied," The snake made me believe. So I ate it ."

Then the Lord God said to the snake, "You will be punished for this, Of all the animals, you alone crawl on your belly.

You will eat dust as long as you live. And I will make you and the women hate each other. Her children and your offspring will also be enemies.

Her children will crush your head and, you will bite his heel."

God also cursed adam and eve that they would suffer pain.

The lord god made clothes out of animal skins for adam and eve, and he clothed them.

Then the lord god said," Now the man has become like one of us for he knows good and evil.

We must not let him eat the fruit of the tree that gives life. If he does, " he will live forever."

So the lord godsend him out of the garden of Eden. From then on he had to work hard and grow his own food in the ground from which God had made him.
